Gower Dreams ...
As the city roads roar and the noise of the streets never fails to din, maybe you dream of a place where the loudest noise at night is the hoot of an owl or the bark of a fox - a place where you can feel green grass under foot and stride across miles of sandy beach ... a place so special that it became the UK's first designated area of natural beauty ... a place called Gower.
Self Catering Accommodation in the Gower
Bryngwyn offers a totally renovated and luxurious Gower home from home for your holiday, with French doors opening from a spacious lounge diner onto a large garden, a wood burner, new furniture, Sky TV and broadband internet access.
From the rear of the house and the garden you can see stunning estuary views, which you can also enjoy from the barbecue area with accompanying outside furniture. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome (doggy bags provided) - we offer dog friendly accommodation and are proud to be listed on the Kennel Club. Children's cot and high chairs are available on request!
The house has four bedrooms, two light and airy double bedrooms, each with a King-size bed and with an ensuite shower room to the Master Bedroom. The third bedroom has twin 3' beds and views towards Cefn Bryn. The fourth bedroom can be either a twin or single as you prefer.

From the Guest Book:
A very pleasant holiday made even better by the excellent accommodation. Every utility a family would require was provided and all in excellent condition. To top it all off was the beautiful garden where we spent many happy hours watching the wild bird life. Each evening we went to the Greyhound pub where we found the food excellent with a good variety. The daytime hours were spent touring the Gower Peninsula and never once were disappointed with the this glorious part of Wales. Here’s to meeting Bryngwyn again all the pleasures it offers.

The Area
Just ten minutes drive away lie some of Gower's glorious beaches, as well as many wonderful Gower walks on hill, by marshland or on the sand dunes, several attractions for children and adults, including falconry and archery at Perriswood, craft activities and animals at the Gower Heritage Centre, Wild Birds at the Wetlands Centre, pony trekking, surfing, sailing - and so much more.
In the lower part of the village are the Church, the Pillory Stone (for naughty children?!), the village pub, The Dolphin, which offers an excellent playground, a lovely garden - and very good beer. Opposite is the more expensive restaurant the Welcome To Town, where chef Robert prepares Gower produce to a very high standard.
The Greyhound Inn is about 1/2 mile along the road and offers excellent home cooked meals, a big garden and play area, and great hospitality! Please see the section on pubs and restaurants for more details.
